Denbighshire County Council (DCC) is the Coordinating Authority for the North Wales Regional Waste Plan and 1st Review. The role of DCC:

Coordinating Authority administering the contract with the Welsh Assembly Government.

  • Organise the RTG and RMG meetings.
  • Take and Circulate Minutes.
  • Keep Welsh Assembly Officials informed of progress.
  • Produce Annual Monitoring Reports in March of each year
  • Produce a consultation framework and strategy.
  • Implement the consultation strategy with input from each authority.
  • Liaise with Members of RTG as and when necessary
  • Ensure project timescale and actions are adhered to.
  • Ensure final agreed Regional Waste Plan1st Review is submitted to the Welsh Assembly Government by August 31st 2008.
